How 10Talents Learning collects, uses, and protects information about you and your family.
What we collect
When you create an account we collect the information you choose to enter: school profile (name, mission, motto, founding year, state of record), student records (names, grade levels, subjects, attendance, grades, assessments), and scheduling data. We collect billing information only as required to process your subscription; payment details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
How we use it
Your data is used to operate the service you signed up for — planner, gradebook, attendance, transcripts, and yearbook. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We use service providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) who handle data only on our behalf and under equivalent confidentiality terms.
Children's data
10Talents Learning is a tool for parents teaching their own children at home. Student records are created and maintained by the parent account holder. We do not market to children directly and we do not allow student-facing third-party advertising.
Your controls
- Access. You can view and export the records you've entered at any time from the app.
- Correction. You can edit school profile and student records from the app.
- Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and the data we hold; we'll process the request within 30 days.
- Portability. Exports are provided in open formats (PDF, CSV) so you keep your records if you cancel.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on infrastructure that enforces encryption at rest. Access to production systems is limited to personnel who need it to operate the service. We'll notify you of material security incidents affecting your data without undue delay.
